With no competing business interests, development land, shareholders, or agency affiliations, my only focus is serving you and the public interest.

I am running because we need an active Council that does not hibernate. I will advocate for an immediate, independent Ward Boundary Review to remap our electoral wards based on population density, community identity, and future growth areas, introducing a "One Ward, One Councillor" format so you know exactly who is directly accountable to you.

I am running because no major infrastructure should be delayed while our town expands. We must advance critical public works like the Doane Road improvements, the Highway 404 and Doane Road interchange, and the widening of Leslie Street. We must also actively revive the stalled university campus plan and ensure the new Southlake Hospital project and North York Durham Sewage System Expansion move forward without delay.
I am running because our communities must grow wisely while protecting our town's natural biodiversity. We need a strong housing strategy for families, alongside institutional, commercial, and industrial (ICI) development to create local jobs and support small businesses. We must hold developers accountable and ensure we build a community that works for residents, protecting the charm of our town while thoughtfully building East Gwillimbury's future.
I am running to prioritize the safety and well-being of your family. Public safety is paramount, and securing reliable emergency services is the first step—including sufficient fire stations, firefighter staffing, and effective traffic safety and calming measures for safe, family-oriented neighborhoods.
Fairness, Fiscal Responsibility, and Local Services
I am running because 42% of our property taxes go directly to York Region, yet we are not seeing our fair share returned. Council must hold the region accountable and advocate for regional road network improvements, increased police presence, enhanced paramedic services, and expanded public transit seamlessly connecting us locally and to the broader GTA via the East Gwillimbury GO Station.
I am running because 19% of our property taxes go to local School Boards. It is time our Council formally demands a high school in East Gwillimbury to ensure this educational gap in our community is finally addressed.
I am running because our town’s services should lead York Region. I will introduce a service match policy to ensure top-tier municipal services while keeping your taxes competitive. I will also ensure our policies are comprehensive and up to date, and that our bylaws are updated, enforceable, and grounded in common sense.
